For All Users (Customers and App Visitors):

We may collect the following information when you use the VEELGO app or website:

  • Personal Identifiers: Your full name, phone number, email address, and any other details you submit when registering or using our services.
  • Location Data: Real-time and historical GPS location data to enable pickup, drop-off, tracking, and delivery matching services.

For Delivery Agents (Drivers/Partners):

If you are a registered VEELGO delivery agent, we may also collect the following additional data to support operations and compliance:

  • Profile and Registration Details: Your contact information, government-issued ID, driver's license, vehicle details, and profile photo (where applicable).

3. How VEELGO Uses Your Information

  • To facilitate and process bookings, deliveries, and payments for services made through the VEELGO app.

c) Platform Monitoring & Improvement

e) Product & Service Development

  • To comply with applicable laws and regulations including data protection, tax, and business operations.

4. How VEELGO Shares Your Information with External Parties

At VEELGO, we value your privacy and are committed to safeguarding your personal data. As a general policy, your personal information is accessible only to our duly authorized staff or representatives. We do not share, sell, or rent your personal data to unaffiliated third parties, except under the following circumstances:

a) Authorized Service Providers and Business Partners

h) Delivery Agent Conduct & Data Restrictions

All VEELGO delivery agents, partners, and subcontractors are strictly prohibited from storing, saving, or misusing customer delivery data. Delivery information:

  • Is to be used only for the purpose of fulfilling an active delivery
  • Will be automatically masked upon completion of the job
  • Must not be extracted, saved, or reused under any circumstance

Any breach of these obligations may result in immediate and permanent suspension of the agent's account and may incur financial penalties or legal action, where applicable.

5. Use of Personal Data for Direct Marketing

VEELGO and our affiliated partners may use your personal data to send you direct marketing communications in compliance. These communications may include updates, promotions, and offers related to our services and those of our trusted partners. We will only send you such marketing messages if you have given us your express consent, have not opted out, or were permitted under applicable laws (e.g., if your number is not listed on the Do Not Call Registry).

We may send marketing messages via SMS, in-app notifications, emails, or calls based on the personal data you provided. The types of services and subjects that may be promoted include:

  • VEELGO's logistics, transport, and vehicle-related services

We do not store or access information on your device through cookies, nor do we track your activity across sessions for analytics or advertising purposes. Our focus is on providing a secure and straightforward service without relying on cookies or third-party tracking tools. If we introduce such technologies in the future, we will update our privacy policy accordingly and seek your consent where required.

VEELGO retains your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by applicable laws and regulations. Once your account is deactivated or you stop using our services, your data will be securely stored in an inactive state.
